Packraft rental is a complete package with everything you need for your adventure:

  • The packraft
  • Paddle(s)
  • Lifejacket(s)

  • Inflation bag

You just need your camping gear, food and drink.

We will charge you for the time the packraft is with you, even if you’re not using it on the water.

Pick up is from Avonhead, Christchurch; you will receive the address when you make a booking, or we will courier the packraft to you.  You can collect your packraft the day before your booking, and drop it back the day after.  You will not be charged rental fees for the time the packraft is with the courier.

Choose our optional insurance to cover the cost of accidental, repairable damage.

Can anyone rent a packraft?

Yes.

We assume that you have the necessary skills to rent a packraft and use it for your journey or adventure.

You are responsible for your own safety!

What is the cost?

Select your rafts and dates on the booking calendar and you will see the cost.
Do you courier packrafts to other locations?

Yes.

At checkout you can select the appropriate shipping option.
Can I collect my packraft in Christchurch and courier it back, or vice versa?

Yes.

Collection is in Avonhead, Christchurch.

If you need to courier it in one direction only, choose the relevant courier option for the two-way courier.
What is your cancellation refund policy?

We know that things happen, and that the weather in NZ can be changeable.

Read our Terms and Conditions for the detail, but this gist is:

  • Cancellation more than 10 days before your booking -> full refund
  • 7 – 10 days out -> 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days out -> no refund
