Can anyone rent a packraft?

Yes.We assume that you have the necessary skills to rent a packraft and use it for your journey or adventure.You are responsible for your own safety!If you are unsure about your ability to complete a journey or adventure, get in touch.

What's included in my rental?

Every packraft rental includes:Your packraft(s)Paddle(s)Lifejacket(s)Helmet(s)Inflation Bag(s)Repair Kit All this equipment is included in the price.

The cost varies depending on the packrafts you choose and your delivery method.Choose your packrafts and head to the checkout to get a final cost.You can choose to pay a 20% deposit up-front, and the remainder before courier or collection.

Do you courier packrafts to other locations?

Absolutely.We can courier your packraft to AND from anywhere in New Zealand, so long as we have time between bookings to get it to you, and back in time for the next booking.If you make a booking that we can’t achieve, we will let you know very quickly.

Can I collect my packraft in Christchurch and courier it back, or vice versa?

Absolutely.Just select the correct option for your courier destination or collection address, and choose the courier option.

Why are my dates unavailable, even though they're green on the calendar?

We automatically allow time between bookings to clean and maintain the packrafts.Also, a packraft may be being couriered to or from another booking.

What is your cancellation refund policy?

We know that things happen, and that the weather in NZ can be changeable.Read our Terms and Conditions for the detail, but this gist is:Cancellation more than 10 days before your booking -> full refund7 – 10 days out -> 50% refundLess than 7 days out -> no refund

Setup Tips

Follow these tips to set your packraft up correctly

Set your packraft up on land before use
Inflate your packraft to the recommended 1.5 Psi
Top up the pressure in your packraft as required
Ensure you can safely exit your packraft

Safety Tips

We want you to be safe and have a great experience. Follow these basic rules.

Always wear a PFD
Always wear a helmet on moving water
Never paddle alone
Never use a leash on moving water
Paddle within your ability and limits
Get some training to improve your skills
