The Inanga is a super-lightweight packraft designed for getting across a river, lake or estuary during a tramping trip.
It has no TiZip and is not designed for carrying a load for long distances; it’s perfect for when size and weight are important.
The Mōkihi is our ultimate journey packraft. This packraft will take you anywhere.
Designed to carry a load (your pack, your bike, a deer) for distances down rivers, across lakes.
Our rental Mōkihi packrafts have a TiZip for internal gear storage, a removable spray skirt and optional thigh straps if you’re heading to somewhere with some more serious rapids up to Class 3.
All of these features can be left behind if weight is critical.
The Hurunui is our high-performace whitewater packraft.
If you’re heading into the backcountry for some challenging whitewater up to Class 3 – 4, this is the packraft for you.
It’s a self-bailing packraft designed to perform in technical whitewater.
The Hurunui also has a TiZip for multi-day adventures.
The Whaiwhai is our packraft secifically designed for hunters.
It is larger than the Mōkihi and has a TiZip, additional tie-points and also a space for your dog!
TiZips are great. They give you access to your packraft, allowing you to store a lot of gear in your packraft for multi-day adventures.
BUT, there are some down sides….
TiZips require a LOT of care and maintenance, and can be prone to failure. A failed TiZip can be extremely difficult to repair or replace.
We do not offer warranties or guarantees for TiZips.
